This is a summer project that has happened in the Alliance community for the last several years. Work is done for homeowners who are not able to do repairs on their own. The projects are completely paid for by donations from area churches and personal contributions, so it costs the homeowner nothing. Last year 10 local churches and some 80 volunteers helped.
Workers gather each morning at the Alliance Christian Center, 670 W. Main St. at 7:30 am for a light breakfast, devotions, and to receive work assignments. Workers return at noon for lunch, provided each day by one of the area churches, and then go back out for the afternoon. There is no designated quitting time, you can work as long as your schedule allows and be done for the day. If you have some time during this week, please consider lending a hand to this worthwhile, local mission.

Community Service Sunday
Our next Community Service Sunday is June 9, 2019.
Meet at the church at 1:00 pm. We will conclude at 3:00 pm
We are planning a clean-up day at Memorial Park (State Street).
An indoor (less physical) project will be announced later.
Our Summer Worship Schedule is June through August.
Sunday Worship at 9:30 am and on first Sundays additional Worship at 11:30pm. First Saturdays remain at 5:00 pm.
